2010 NTEN Award

David KrumlaufThe NTEN (Nonprofit Technology Network) award is given each year to a person who the lives the values of our community. At NTEN, we are all practical dreamers; we're open and authentic with one another, we hold each other accountable and we share without asking anything in return. The best part is all the fun we have along the way.

This year’s recipient embodies all of this and so much more: here’s what a few community members had to say:

Wears the nptech ethic like an old, loved jacket. Generous in sharing talents, warm humor, and appreciation for peers. Has years of tech experience and knowledge that put the rest of us to shame, but approaches every new idea like a kid in a candy store.

Has a never-ending supply of happiness, generosity and skills and can't help but share. A sense of community that is not only about giving back, it’s who they are. Looks really swell in an NTEN hat.

A huge supporter of all things NPTECH! No matter the challenge, can navigate a conference with ease and have a great time!

The kind of person who sees the value of every member of our community. A warm, welcoming presence that helps glue our community together and helps us do our best work.

The quintessential NPtechie role model; a person who loves technology, and loves their job, but more importantly, loves enabling nonprofits to do what they love best: meet their mission, and has the most inspiring smile while doing it.

Personally, I met this years NTEN award winner a little over a year ago: 1st via twitter then live at NTC -- I was instantly embraced as an old friend, a fellow community member, a comrade in arms helping to advance all things “NPTECH”-- I was inspired by the enthusiasm, wisdom and openness shared with me for NTEN and all the amazing work this community is accomplishing. It give me great pleasure, and I am truly honored & humbled, to present this years NTEN award to David Krumlauf!
